The only assistance is if you spent money to retro-fit the building for, say, a wheelchair ramp. This will help, but won’t pay for the ramp.

There are no special things for you on the tax return.

    Your deductions will be:
55 cents per mile for all business runs with or without the kids in the car.
    food purchased for the kids.
extra supplies that the kids consume.
replacement cost or repairs of items the kids break.
did you fence in your yard for the kid’s safety?
    build outside playground equipment.
toys and gifts purchased for the kids.
movie rentals for the kid’s entertainment.
Any money spent on the kids is a deduction.

you can take a deduction for the use of your home. Therefore when you go to get your return prepared be sure to take totals for these bills:
all utilities including telephone, electric, & gas
purchase cost of your house or rent payments
    yard maintenance
    home repairs

As far as some financial aid try your state’s Department of Human Services. Are you related to the kids? Iowa has a program that pays for caring for relatives.
