Are there any tax deductions made available to HIV+ people or people living with AIDS? Specifically in relation to medical expenses, etc…?

Medical expenses in excess of a certain percentage of adjusted gross income are deductible for all persons who itemize, regardless of HIV status. Medical expenses up to that percentage of adjusted gross income, and all medical expenses paid by persons who do not itemize, are not deductible.

No there is not. There was a push for it twice…once in 1992 and once in 1999. The people with AIDS or HIV+ wanted special exmp. for medical expenses, but it was always held up becuase many many people in America had other crippling diseases i.e. cancer and other things of that nature

No, no special deductions for any particular disease.
